Our purpose is to increase the number of students and graduates taking part in life-changing experiences overseas.

We do this by listing opportunities to gain work experience with purpose-driven organisations overseas. We guide students, schools, colleges and universities towards the most impactful, environmentally sustainable and well-funded experiences.

On the Departure Board it’s clear which opportunities take place directly with an employer or charity vs those organised by a third party intermediary (we call those companies ‘Providers’). For a Provider to appear on our platform, they must complete our due diligence process so that you can explore their track record and clearly see any fees they charge for their support.
